Jennifer Meyerhoff, Baltimore

Jennifer Meyerhoff is a nonprofit activist and strategist based in Baltimore, Maryland. In March 2006, at a 
small gathering in Ranaana that brought young Jews from around the world to study Torah together, 
Jennifer was accosted by Benny Bailey who was preaching the Jewish Salons gospel. 
She's been learning from his good book ever since..




Stacey Prenner, NYC

Stacey's expertise is to provide innovative human capital ideas. 
She is currently employed at DDB Worldwide advertising and communications company,
developing systems and tools for organizational effectiveness and how top talent is recruited, 
developed, motivated and retained. Her interest in Jewish life is manifested in different roles she carries at UJA Federation of NY, in UJA's Commission on the Jewish People, Next Generation 
initiatives with JAFI and Kol Dor. All these qualities are channeled to her commitment to the 
Jewish Salons project's success.




Eli Shaharabany, Tel-Aviv

Social Entrepreneur and professional fundraiser.
In the past 15 years, Eli established several social change projects in Israel. Among them: “Nachshon” – after high-school academy for leadership; “Beatzmi” – NGO that provide programs for unemployed people to find their own way to a steady employment; and “Du-Siach” promoting activities for better understanding between different sectors and streams in Judaism. Currently works as the Director of Development for The Open University in Israel, and focuses on global claimant change challenges.


 

Andrew Horwitz, NYC

Andrew is a curator/producer and writer based in New York City. He has been published in various outlets
including Heeb Magazine and Nerve.com From 2002-2007 he worked at Performance Space 122, NYC’s premiere presenter of experimental performance. Since then he has worked independently with many artists and arts organizations. He is co-curator of PRELUDE, an annual festival of innovative theater at the Martin E. Segal Theater Center of the Graduate Center at CUNY.
He is also founder and editor of the arts blog Culturebot.org. He currently works at the Foundation for Jewish Culture.




Ruth Ouazana, Paris

Founder and chairwoman of Limoud in France, Ruth is also member of the Limmud International Team. She has been active for more than 20 years in the Jewish Guides and Scouts of France, being from 2000 to 2003 and since 2007 their International Commissionner. Ruth is part of various international programs and networks, like Israel Connect Europe or KolDor, where she met Benny. She has been working for ten years as a lawyer in French Employment Law and is now working as a project manager in Communication. She lives in Paris.




Emilio Betech Rophie, Mexico City


Since 2004, I have hosted "El Aleph, La Voz Judía de la Radio", Mexico's only Jewish-themed radio talk show, broadcast nationally. I am also the creator of "La Historia de tu Vida", an oral history production company, as well as ExpanDT, a marketing and training consulting practice. I also teach in Iberoamericana University and freelance in writing.  During the summer of 2008, I was honored to participate in the "Diplomatic Seminar for Young Jewish Leaders", sponsored by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
My current projects include an upcoming book concerning Jewish facts and fictions, a preservation program for Mizrahi religious music, and of course, launching Jewish Salons in Mexico.
