What is a Jewish Salon?
The Jewish Salons is a global initiative to develop a network of non-institutional venues that will revolve around Jewish culture, and reflect the mode of interest younger generations hold towards the Jewish story in the early 21st century.
The Salons are intended to spread in Jewish urban communities around the world. Eventually they sould be set up as permanent venues in central locations and be aesthetically and intellectually engaging.
Each Salon will include a café-bar, dynamic art exhibition, performance space and book-film- music library that will resonate and reflect all aspects of the Jewish experience.
The Salons will present activities that offer a pluralistic Jewish culture and will welcome both Jews and non-Jews who have an interest in the Jewish cultural story and its interaction with other cultures.
